Janet Jackson ‘to reschedule 75 axed shows and pen new album about motherhood’ as she moves on after split from husband Wissam Al Mana
Often times more than not, it has been proven that men rarely appreciate a strong, independent woman and in Janet Jackson case, could this be one of the many reasons for her recent separation/divorce from her third husband?
via Dailymail: Janet Jackson will reschedule 75 axed shows and release a new album about ‘motherhood’ as she moves on after splitting from her billionaire husband Wissam Al Mana. The superstar, 50, and Wissam, 42, parted ways earlier this month and she is now said to be focusing all her energy on writing ‘positive’ music after becoming a mother to their three-month-old son, Eissa Al Mana.
The Scream singer will play the shows she postponed due to her pregnancy last year under a new run of dates named the State Of The World tour, which will hit North America later this year. An insider told The Sun newspaper: ‘Having a baby has upped her desire to release positive music and she wants her new songs to be a celebration of life, love and motherhood.
She plans to get back on tour in North America in October, followed by a brand new album. ‘Last year’s incomplete Unbreakable World Tour is being revamped to become the State Of The World Tour and she is already scheduling summer rehearsals.’
Janet’s career plans come after she split from her Qatari billionaire husband of five years earlier this month. Sources close to the couple said that the break up was triggered by cultural differences. ‘Wissam wanted a wife who stuck more with the Muslim traditions,’ a source told Us Weekly. ‘She felt like she couldn’t be herself anymore. ‘Janet felt hidden away from her family. She missed them.’
While Janet was rarely photographed during their marriage, she has been seen out a couple of times in London this month, where she has made her home. ‘It’s really unusual to see her out of the house because she hardly seems to venture out at all,’ a source told People magazine. ‘Apart from a few people, she hasn’t really had any visitors,’ the source added. ‘After the baby was born, Wissam was at the house all the time, but in the past month, he’s barely been there at all.’
The pair married in secret in 2012 and only revealed that they had tied the knot a year later. It has been reported that the couple re-nuptial agreement stated that a substantial financial payout would only be payable if the marriage lasted five years. k
