Did Carlos King Ex-Producer of ‘RHOA’ Steal ANOTHER Show Idea?

As much as we would like for this to be shocking it really isn’t and I can only hope that an idea that was pitched to him that he seemed to have loved doesn’t appear on tv next year or I know a producer who will go HAMMMMM on Mr. King and probably make him retire….

As New York Yankees legend Yogi Berra once said, “It’s déjà vu all over again.” Speaking of which, we’ve seemed to have traveled this road before with former “Real Housewives of Atlanta”executive producer Carlos King and his alleged penchant for stealing others’ reality show ideas and profiting from it.

King allegedly snatched an idea right out of “RHOA’s” Sheree Whitfield’s mouth a few years ago about a real estate show. Whitfield, who feels like she was stiffed in the exchange, was reportedly promised a peach for her silence but was only given “friend” status instead. She did, however, appear for the premiere of “Selling It in the ATL”

Today, King, who was fired from “RHOA,” allegedly did the same thing to another person who came up with a great idea for a wedding reality show, BET’s “‘The Mane Event.” King is currently the executive producer for the show starring Gucci Mane and Keyshia Ka’Oir, but now it’s being called into question whether the show was his idea.

Ka’Oir’s image consultant, Janero Marchand, spit fire on Instagram about the situation.  Apparently, he was the “connect” who paired Keyshia and Gucci with King and he didn’t receive credit or compensation.

Along with the above post, Janero captioned it with the following statement:

“Up until now I’ve always had control and been super protective of my image and brand. I purposely stayed isolated behind the scenes and made magic happen in the background because I was warned about jealousy and hate for me in the industry because of opportunities and ideas I created for my clients.”

According to Janero’s posts (which have since been deleted), he said what he wanted was to be shown in a positive light on the show and that King failed to honor his part of the deal.

In his final post on the subject, Janero clearly indicates that he’s broken from this traumatic chapter in his life. He vows to take a reprieve from social media after facing the disappointment of being allegedly back-stabbed by someone he looked up to (Carlos King). And it doesn’t look like he has any love left for the industry.

Meanwhile, rumor has it that King has yet another case of idea stealing on his dubious résumé. Only time will tell if the parties will come out and state their alleged grievances against King.
