Congrats To Nick Cannon As He Lands His Own Late-Night TV Show

The comedian and “Wild ’N Out” host, 38, inked a deal to develop a series for Fox, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The show is untitled and will cover topical subjects. It will also feature pop culture commentary, celebrity interviews, music performances and comedy acts.

Cannon, who quit hosting “America’s Got Talent” in 2017, is partnering with “The Talking Dead” executive producer Michael Davies for the series.

Wild N Out creator Nick Cannon is taking his talents to late-night television following recent reports that he landed his own TV series!

(HU) The 38-year-old comedian and former “America’s Got Talent” host just inked a deal to develop a series for Fox, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The show is currently untitled and will cover topical subjects, pop culture commentary, celebrity interviews, music performances, and comedy acts, PageSix reports.

This will be Cannon’s return to major network aside from MTV after he quit hosting “America’s Got Talent” in 2017. The “Drumline” star is said to e partnering with “The Talking Dead” executive producer Michael Davies for the series.

The Fox deal also puts Mariah Carey’s ex-husband as the host of their upcoming competition series “The Masked Singer.” The father of three will also join forces with Davies to create content for social media platforms for the network, PageSix reports. Back in August, it was announced that Cannon is set to produce a new crime drama series alongside hip-hop icons E-40 and Too Short called “The Yay Area”.

A premiere date for the talk show has not been announced but we will keep our ears and eyes open!
