Congara Brands, Inc. has recalled about 700,125 pounds of spaghetti and meatball products because of undeclared allergens and misbranding, the Department of Agriculture announced on Friday. The recalled products from the Pennsylvania-based company contain milk, an allergen that was not detailed on the product label, according to the USDA.
Customers who purchased the products were urged to throw them away or return them. The company was notified June 6 about the problem. There are no confirmed reports of allergic reactions due to the products. Consumers who have purchased the products are urged to throw them away or return them to the store for a refund.
