Amanda Seales Asks White Women Planning to Kneel During National Anthem: ‘Where the F— Y’all Been at?

If no one will keep it real with you, Amanda Seales damn sure will keep it real with you, me, them and oh yeah, that over there too!
(Atlanta Black Star) Amanda Seales is taking issue with the call for women to begin kneeling during the national anthem. The “Insecure” actress used her Instagram Story Sunday to slam the apparent movement, which was publicized by Bishop Talbert Swan over the weekend.
Swan tweeted in part, “White women kneeling during the anthem to protest ‘rape culture’ is highjacking a movement you took no risks for. You didn’t kneel in solidarity to protest the murder of Black people, don’t co opt & make it about your victimization. That’s white supremacy in the name of feminism.”
It’s not clear what prompted Swan to make this remark, but he made it apparent that it had nothing to do with actress Molly Ringwald calling on singers to kneel as they performed the anthem.
“I am calling on either Beyoncé, Ariana Grande or Christine Aguilera to sing the National Anthem on bended knee #JustDoIt,” Ringwald tweeted Friday, Oct. 5.
Additionally, a meme has been circulating online encouraging women to kneel the next time “The Star-Spangled Banner” is played.
